DanceAspen is Aspen’s premier professional dance company dedicated to bringing high caliber performing arts to the Roaring Fork Valley. We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and video production, making it an ideal role for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the world of digital marketing and content creation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Collection: Attend performances, special events and rehearsals periodically to gather and curate footage and photos to be used for social media and marketing campaigns.

  • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and visually appealing content for our social media platforms.

  • Video Editing: Assist in editing videos to be used in content strategies and on our website.

  • Social Media Management: Assist in managing and monitoring our social media accounts, including scheduling posts, engaging with our online community, and tracking performance metrics.

  • Research and Trends: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices, and provide insights on how to improve our social media strategies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content and campaigns across various digital platforms.

  • Assist with Administrative Tasks: Support the team with various administrative tasks related to social media and video projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Passion for social media, content creation, and video production.

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design, video editing, and content creation tools

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing digital landscape.

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
